General Manager, Disruptive Thinking
Company or Organization:
Shell Deep Water
Lori Fremin's current remit is to research to understand how Deep Water, Shell can thrive through the energy transition. The pandemic accelerated the efforts and has enabled everyone to "think outside of the box." Incremental thinking is insufficient against the pace required to #makethefuture. Until May, Mrs. Fremin was the General Manager of Surface Engineering in the Gulf of Mexico. She was responsible for safely and sustainably delivering the surface technical and operational engineering needs for Shell's Deep Water Gulf of Mexico Assets. Throughout her 28 years, she has held Surface and Subsurface Technical and Leadership roles. She has worked in Deep Water, Unconventionals and Heavy Oil Upstream and started in Downstream. She has worked twice in Deep Water spanning over 20 years.
