Thames Science Center
Housed in five storefronts along the waterfront of Newport, the Thames Science Center gives visitors of all ages a chance to learn about robots, computers, and much more. The center acts as a pioneer in developing and testing unique, interactive science and pre-engineering learning programs, including Watershed Worlds, RobotACTS, Shoot for the Moon!, Mentors for Explainers, and others. Demonstrations include such action-packed events as watching a Robobug maneuvering through an obstacle course, playing basketball with Hoop-o-bot's moving basket, and trying programming robots yourself.
