Tamara Robertson is an Emmy-nominated producer and celebrated television host, best known for her roles in the reboots of Mythbusters and Mythbusters JR with Adam Savage, as well as co-hosting Scijinks with Johnny Galecki on the Discovery Channel. 

A Patent-holding, OSHA Certified Chemical & Biomolecular Engineer, Tamara brings over a decade of expertise as a Design Engineer, working on Greenfield startups and developing patentable technologies to help companies reduce landfill waste. Recognized as a Marvel Agent of G.I.R.L. in the Marvel Comic “Unstoppable Wasp,” Tamara is celebrated for her real-life superhero contributions to engineering and her efforts to empower young girls in STEM through her Superhero Science outreach. 

Tamara co-founded and co-produces the bilingual STEM outreach comic Seekers of Science, which has distributed over 1 million copies globally, inspiring the next generation of innovators. As a leading voice in the Maker Community, she advocates for normalizing women in shop environments and empowers them by teaching essential tools and skills. Hosting the podcast Tinkering Belles and the series Shop Science, Tamara connects artisanal trades skills with STEM careers, while co-producing the children’s series Tinkering Trex. Her dynamic presence on social media, TV, and off-screen platforms drives her mission to inspire future STEM leaders and normalize women in STEM and shop floor environments. 

Tamara has a proven track record of inspiring audiences to think critically, embrace their STEM superpowers, and forge their own paths to make impactful changes in the world. She serves as an Ambassador for the Society of Women Engineers SWENext and SHLA events and is on the Board of Directors for the Jessi Combs Foundation.
